The following board member positions are open for elections.

If interested in one of these positions, please contact an existing board member to be added to the ballot.

Open Positions include:

Vice President

DUTIES OF VICE PRESIDENT

• In the absence or incapacity of the president, perform the duties of that office and such other duties as the board may from time to time prescribe
• Oversee Hockey Development Committee (HDC)
• Attend all meetings relating to our district
• Perform other duties prescribed by the Board 

Treasurer -- Incumbent running

DUTIES OF THE TREASURER

• Keep accurate financial records for the association
• Deposit all money, drafts, and checks in the name of and to the credit of the association in the banks and depositories designated by the board
• Endorse for deposit all notes, checks, and drafts received by the association as ordered by the board, making proper vouchers therefore
• Disburse association funds and issue checks and drafts in the name of the association, as ordered by the board
• Render to the president and the board, on a monthly basis and/ or whenever requested, an account of all transactions by the treasurer and the financial statements summarizing the condition of the association
• Perform other duties prescribed by the board
• Provide annual summaries to the Association’s Accounting firm to complete & file non-profit tax returns and report & pay concession stand sales tax on a quarterly basis
• Perform other duties prescribed by the Board

Board Member at Large -- Incumbent running

DUTIES OF THE BOARD MEMBER AT LARGE

• The board member at large will perform duties as prescribed by the board. The individual eligible for this position is any member of the  communities of New Prague area

• Perform other duties prescribed by the Board

Manager Director -- Incumbent running

DUTIES OF THE MANAGER DIRECTOR

• Coordinate annual managers’ training/information session with Team Managers

• Responsible for updating and maintaining the association’s manager’s handbook

• Perform other duties prescribed by the Board

Voting will take place at Hockey Fest, Thursday, March 30th, 5:30-6:30 p.m.  Absentee ballots will be available; details will be coming as we get closer to the date.
