Welcome to the start of the 2023-24 NPHA youth hockey season! 

Tryouts will be held at the NPACC for our Squirt, Girls 10U, Peewee, and Bantam level players on the following dates: 

Saturday, Sept 30th

Sunday, Oct 1st

Saturday, Oct 7th

Tryout Groups will be sent out on Friday (Oct. 6th) afternoon.

Reminders:

• ALL Players MUST have a mouth guard for tryouts!  If you come without one, you will not be able to participate!
• Goalies- you will attend BOTH groups for your level

Sunday, Oct 8th

Extended evaluations as needed up until 12/31 as determined by the HDC

Reminder that in order to participate in player tryouts, player registration must be completed by the tryout deadline of September 23rd.

Please mark your calendar for the following dates for Mite/8U Placement sessions: 

Mite/8U – Novermber 11 & 12, 2023 @ the NPACC

During the first weekend of the Mite/8U’s regular season, all players will be skating as a group. You will be notified as to when your son/daughter will skate the first weekend. These two days will be used for establishing Mite/8U teams, otherwise known as Mite/8U placements, finishing up November 12th, 2023. You will be notified of the exact times your player(s) will skate. The goal of the first weekend is to start the year off for all kids with a good foundation of skill-based training while evaluations are going on at the same time. A similar scoring system will be used as is used for our upper-level tryouts.  Parents will be notified of their child(ren)'s team placement within a few days after Nov 12th.
