What:  10,000 puck shooting challenge

Where:  Anywhere you can shoot hockey pucks

When:  April 1st- Aug 31st

Why:  Become better shooters

How: Register, record the number of shots you take each day. 

1. Go to https://www.hockeyshare.com/10000pucks/player/
2. Create a player profile.
3. It will email you a link to activate your account.
4. Click the 10K pucks tab in the red menu at the top of the page from that email to activate. (May need to re-login)
5. In blue menu, click “Add Player” Fill in info.
6. Click the "Find a Team" link next to your name, click search.
7. Search for your team by keyword New Prague Youth Hockey
8. Choose the New Prague team that corresponds with your child’s birth year.
9. You're all set, you can now see the team information at the bottom of your "Track Shots" page

    

   Prizes:  All players who reach 10,000 pucks receive a tee shirt! 

   -Top 3 shooters in each birth year will receive a prize. 

   -Top 3 shooters in the entire association will receive a prize. 

   -Prizes TBD but will be AWESOME!

   *Shooting outside of challenge dates is encouraged, however, only official challenge dates (April 1-August 31) shooting will count toward prizes.

   *Shots taken at practices are not to be counted for this contest.

   *Shooters are encouraged to take half of their shots while on rollerblades.

   *Challenge yourself!  Shoot for accuracy vs just throwing pucks at the net.

   *Shoot from different areas, not just straight on.

   *Parents are encouraged to validate or enter their child’s shot count.

   *This is an optional activity for players, but highly encouraged and proven to increase shot performance.
